A new bike route in Minsk is a gift to the City Day

In the 12^th of September Minskers celebrated the City Day and our executive committee timed to this holiday the opening of a new bike route. Of course, the Adventure Races Federation (ARF) could not leave this event aside. We took part in the opening ceremony organization and invited members of the Poehali! (Let’s Go!) Community to test the route.

The official part of the event was held near the Sports Palace and it was broadcasted on all Belarusian TV channels.  Nikolai Ladutko, Acting Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, made a welcome speech for participants of this event. According to his words, the new bicycle route is a unique object, because now everyone can go through all the city on his/her bike without crossing highways.
